We have sorely missed our camp community, but we cannot wait to be reunited again this coming summer. While the coronavirus upended our 2020 sessions, we now have the time, knowledge, and ability to apply the necessary precautions and safety measures to ensure the well-being of our campers when we return to Piermont, NH in June 2021.
Being apart has made us all keenly aware of the importance that Camp Walt Whitman plays in our lives. Our campers have missed their friends and counselors, and our parents have heard ad nauseum now about how much better summer would have been had they been able to be together at Camp Walt Whitman! Even more devastating though, is that our campers by and large have had to endure a much more sedentary, screen-filled, isolating summer.
Soon we will be back in the White Mountains, creating the magic that comes from immersing yourself in nature and a community that pushes each other to be the best version of ourselves we can be. We look forward to forging these bonds and memories again and we invite you to join us. For prospective families, we offer virtual tours and for our returning families we will continue to connect virtually until we see each other again around the campfire!
Sending love to our CWW community,
Carolyn and Jed
