Dance Specialist
Overview
Our dance instructors primarily teach jazz and hip-hop in our beautiful dance studio each day, helping novice dancers learn the fundamentals of movement, while providing experienced dancers advanced instruction.
Inter-camp competition, and camper talent shows are two of the main showcases for our dancers, who learn routines and basic choreography from our instructors.
For Alaena Klages, a dance specialist for three years, being able to use her creativity to plan lessons was one of the best parts of the position. The payoff was equally rewarding. Seeing her campers perform the dances they practiced in and outside of the studio “really showed me how my lessons could teach the campers new skills and instill confidence in themselves.” she said.
