Baseball specialist
Overview
Our baseball coaching positions are full-time positions where you will be teaching boys the fundamentals of America’s pastime, as well as imparting knowledge of the game itself during games and inter-camp challenges. While creating your own lesson plans, you will have the opportunity to hone your coaching skills. You will work with campers in our batting cage and on the field to develop their skills and game knowledge.
Owen Panek, a CWW baseball specialist, says that one of the greatest thrills is watching campers grow and develop their skills throughout the summer. The ultimate payoff is during upper camp baseball games, when the boys are split into two teams. “As a coach and a former player, to see the kids use the skills and knowledge I taught them throughout the summer and play a friendly but intense game was awesome.”
Job Details
Requirements
- Experience playing baseball at a high school or college level OR extensive coaching experience
- Prior experience working with children
- College age or older
- Strong references
- A great attitude
