TRIPS

The information below is intended to provide you with what our plans are today, February 8th, about trips out of camp this summer. However, as changes are rapidly occurring in testing, vaccines, COVID variants, and guidelines, we want to emphasize that we are waiting before making final decisions regarding trips.

• Our Outdoor Adventure Program will remain an essential part of our camp program. We will continue to run weekly day hikes for all campers and have overnight excursions at private campsites.  Our multiday backpacking and biking trips will be limited this summer as we aim to avoid utilizing public campgrounds and other locations where it will be difficult to socially distance from people who are not part of our camp community.  We are currently working on what a safe version of these trips might look like.
• Because of the anticipated necessity to run camp in our modified bubble, it is unlikely that we will be able to send campers on each age group’s unique out of camp trip. Therefore, it is unlikely campers will travel to Maine, Canada, Hawaii, Lake Placid, or go White Water Rafting.
