Punch Bowl Cake

1 yellow cake mix
2 small pkg. French vanilla instant pudding
1 (6 oz) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 (16 oz) cartons Cool Whip
2 pints sliced strawberries (may be frozen)
2-3 bananas, sliced

Bake cake according to instructions. Cool completely. Mix pudding as directed on package. Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water. Set aside. Break cake into pieces. Layer in punch bowl: cake, pudding, fruit and warm Jell-O. Top with Cool Whip. (Make 2-3 layers depending on size of punch bowl.) Decorate top of dessert with strawberries and mint.
